The sample that some of you heard of my playing, was from a clinic in Mexico, and Bobby also played that same day. I couldn't watch him because I had a gig and I had to left before his performance, but I talked a little bit with him and was really nice.
Some people told me that it was quite a showman, doing some weird things with cymbals on his back, and some explosive double bass drumming, but I wasn't aware that he is such a great drummer.

Maybe I should have cancelled my gig and stayed that night.

It was quite an experience, and some great drummers: Bobby, Zoro, Johnny Rabb, and Derico Watson... if you haven't heard him, check it out ( www.dericowatson.com ).

There were like 3 cameras recording all the event, so there most be a video somewhere of the Bobby's clinic.

Derico is an amazing cat and a very cool guy. If you ever get a chance to check him out
on the Victor Wooten gig, don't miss it. You'll be glad you went.
